He how are you?
A few days ago I received a certification.
It is an important recognition: it certifies that they are officially an goldsmith's artisan that uses sustainable, certified and traceable gold.

I want to be honest with you.
Being "sustainable" in the golden world is a constant challenge.
For this reason when I received the certificate I tried a mix of intense emotions. Happiness, pride, of course, but also a Strong responsibility.
Gold, precious stones that go to compose the jewel, They are not sustainable materials.
Already only the first phase of creating a jewel, the extraction of raw materials, can have a serious impact on the environment and people, on children.
For this I have chosen to start making the difference.
I don't want to tell you a perfect story.
I want to talk to you about what is not seen, of the hidden story That the light of a jewel dazzle the looks hides.
This is only the beginning of the route, a path in the direction of a version of my work that is as close as possible to "100% sustainable".
Oeko Gold gold, the one I use and for which I took the certification, comes from sustainable sources and is devoid of toxic substances, substances that may be present in traditional processes.
Oeko Gold gold is traced, has guarantees of transparency and comes from regenerated gold or certified mines.
Oeko Gold gold is my first true step my great dream: to make Atelier Mirabilia a sustainable laboratory.

This is my journey, with you, towards my dream.
A journey that hides pitfalls, a journey that will not be simple, a journey that will need all our energy to make the light of jewelry shine on a better world.
Thank you with all my heart
See you soon
